Hello Admin! It seems like there was a hiccup during the minting process, but don't worry, we've got you covered with a solution!
MyIPR has a feature that helps you get out of this adverse situation: Retry Minting.
Generating a new certificate signifies the introduction of fresh data into the blockchain system. Occasionally, this process encounters technical challenges leading to failures. The Retry Minting feature serves as a solution tailored for situations where the initial upload process faces obstacles, ensuring a smooth integration of information into the system.
Let's recreate the issue first.
Certificate Minting Process
Step 1: Create Certificate
To mint your creation, you need to first upload your creation to create the certificate.
Step 2: Upload your Documents
Upload your file for which you need to create a certificate.
Step 3: Enter Certificate Details
On the details pertaining to the certificate, and then make payment.
Step 4: Make Payment
Choose the payment method and proceed to pay.
Step 5: Payment Successful
Retry Minting
In case of discrepancy during minting process, you can always retry minting.
Step 1: Go to My Collection
Choose the recently generated file slated for minting.
Step 2: Select the retry option
Click on the Retry button on top right corner of the selected file.
As a user seeking to mint a certificate, you require the system to handle failed minting seamlessly. This entails automated retries up to three times with 60-second intervals and manual retries within 24 hours of the last automated attempt, all without redundant data re-uploads or resubmissions.
This streamlined approach enhances the efficiency and user experience in the certificate minting process.
Note:
Failed certificates will be labeled "Failed" and accompanied by a retry button after an unsuccessful auto-retry attempt.
Successfully minted certificates will be displayed as "Certificate created."
After a failed minting process, the system will retain all provided details for a retry.
Certificates in the auto-retry process will be indicated with an "In Progress" status.
A manual retry button will be enabled for the user if minting fails even after the last auto-retry.
The retry button will be removed after 24 hours from the last auto-retry attempt or if minting is successful during any retry process.
