Hi Admin! confused about how to transfer the ownership of your certificate? We've got your back with a clear, step-by-step guide to walk you through the entire transfer process for successfully generated certificates.
Let’s see how you transfer your certificate.
Step 1: Go to My Collections
Go to My Collections and select the certificate file.
Functionality 1: Transfer certificate and its Version
Step 1:
In order to transfer the whole certificate file that includes all the versions, you need to go to the ellipses icon and select Transfer.
Functionality 2: Transfer Versions of the Certificate
Step 1:
To transfer the version of the certificate, open the selected file that carries the certificate and its versions.
Step 2:
Click on the ellipses icon (three dots) and then select Transfer.
Step 3:
Select the version of the certificate that you wish to transfer.
Step 4: Enter the Email of the prospect owner.
You need to enter the correct email address of the prospect owner and select the Transfer button.
Step 5: Enter OTP
You will receive an OTP on your registered email ID. Enter the correct OTP.
Step 5: Transfer Request Sent
Once OTP gets verified, the transfer request is sent. On clicking the Check Request Status, you can see the current status of the request.
Functionality 3: Check Sent Request
To check the sent request, go to the Request section on the left (Menu bar). Click on sent, and the request, along with the Certificate name, Time, and Status, will be displayed.
The sender can cancel the sent request.
Functionality 4: The Prospect Owner's Action
Case 1: Accept the Request
The prospect owners who wish to accept the transfer request but do not have an existing account can create a new account. They need to KYC their account and then accept the transfer request.
Case 2: Reject the Request
The prospect owner can either accept or reject the request. The owner who does not have an account with MyIPR can only reject the request through the link. For rejecting the request, no KYC is needed.
Congratulations! Your transfer request is successful. New Owners can go to My Collections to check the certificate or its version.
