Hi, Business User! Do you want to find out whether your Certificate of Creation is legit or not?

Don’t worry!

MyIPR introduces certificate verification functionality which helps you to check the authenticity of the generated Certificate with our platform.
The underlying working principle involved in verifying the legitimacy of your Certificate is:

'An asset created/uploaded on the MyIPR platform has a specific Hash ID. The Certificate of Creation is assigned a specific Hash ID to it once generated. If the Hash IDs match, then the generated certificate is authentic.'

Let’s look at the Verification procedure now.

Step 1:

Scan the QR code in the MyIPR Certificate of Creation.

Scanning the QR code in the MyIPR Certificate of Creation generates a verification link to check the authenticity of your Certificate.

Step 2:

Navigating Certificate Details Page

  • You are redirected to the Certificate Details page by browsing the verification link.

On the Certificate Details page, you can view the following details:

  1. Created At i.e., the date and time of initial Certificate generation.
  2. File Size
  3. Wallet ID
  4. Token Number
  5. Hash Number i.e., a unique Hash ID of the Certificate.
  6. Description of the Certificate

Drag and drop the asset file in the designated file upload location.
The Certificate generated and the file uploaded must belong to the same asset.

Step 3:

Verifying the Authenticity of the Certificate

  • Once the asset file is uploaded, the Hash ID of the asset is generated.
  • The asset Hash ID generated is compared to the Certificate’s Hash ID i.e., the Hash Number.
If both the Hash IDs match:

A “File Matched” pop-up message is displayed. This conveys that the uploaded file and the Certificate generated belong to the same asset thereby, verifying the authenticity of the Certificate.

If both the Hash IDs does not match:
A “The files don’t match” pop-up message is displayed. This conveys that the uploaded file and the Certificate generated does not belong to the same asset therefore the verification process is incomplete.
