Getting Started with MyIPR Business Account

Hi Admin! Welcome to MyIPR User Guide.


We acknowledge your self-reliance as a Business Account Admin (or Manager), but we're excited to stand by your side throughout your MyIPR experience. 

In addition, we'll provide you with valuable tips and information about how to make the most of MyIPR's functionalities.



So, let’s begin with the onboarding process.


Setup your MyIPR Business Account: Sign Up, Login, and Forgot Password

You need to know about these key steps before stepping in: Sign Up; Login; Forgot Password (Whenever Required).


Sign Up Process


MyIPR Sign Up represents the user(s) first interaction with the platform before entering the login page of the MyIPR platform. As you are new to the forum, you must undergo the registration process via the sign-up page and verify your credentials.


The below steps describe the user journey throughout the registration process.


Step 1: 


Click https://app.myipr.io to redirect to the MyIPR application page.


Step 2: 


If you’re a new user of the MyIPR platform, click Join Now to redirect to the Sign Up page. 



Step 3: 


If you’re a Business Admin, select the Business Account option and click Continue.



Step 4: 


Enter the following details accurately for the MyIPR registration process:


1. Enter your First Name in the Input box.

Criteria for First Name: The length should be within 3 to 25 characters.


2.    Enter your Last Name in the Input box.

Criteria for Last Name: The length should be within 3 to 25 characters.


3.    Create a unique Username for your account.

Criteria for Choosing a Username: 


  • It must be unique.
  • Between 4-to-16-character length
  • May have letters, numbers, and special characters (accepting only "." and "_")
  • It should not have more than 7 numbers. 

 

4.    Enter your active Email address for verification.

 

5.    Create a password for your account. Enter New Password with strong composition.


Criteria for a Valid Password:

  • Password must contain at least 8-20 characters.
  • Password should always be an alphanumeric string.
  • Password must consist of at least one lowercase and one uppercase letter.
  • Password must consist of at least one special character, including “!, @, #, $, %, &, *, (), -, +, =, ^”
  • The new password should not match the last 3 passwords.


After meeting the password criteria, the password's strength will be assessed based on the number of characters. If the character count is between 0-8, 9-12, or 13-20, the password will be classified as weak, moderate, or strong, respectively.


6.    Repeat your new password on Confirm Password input box for confirmation.



Step 5: 


Click on Create an Account button after completing the details.



Step 6: 


A verification email will be sent to your email account. Check your registered email inbox for the verification link.


The Link sent over registered email address is valid for 10 mins. If expired, can be regenerated.



Step 7: 


Select the verification email sent by the MyIPR platform. Click on VERIFY YOUR ACCOUNT button to confirm the email verification.



Step 8: 


As soon as the user clicks on the verification link, the account gets verified, and the user will be redirected to the login page.


Go to the Login page to confirm successful registration to MyIPR.



In case you missed the verification email, click on Resend Email button on the login page.


User can Resend Email if only if the user didn’t verify the account and tried to log in.


The "Resend" button will only be enabled, if the user has not verified their account and attempts to log in directly. In such cases, an alert will be displayed along with the option to click on the “Resend email” button. 


Login Process


The Login page serves as a pivotal checkpoint for verifying the authenticity and legitimacy of each user connecting to the MyIPR platform. 


Step 1: 


If you are a registered user on the MyIPR platform, please proceed to the Login page. Enter your registered Email ID and Password, and then click on the Login button.



For first time logged in user, there will be a few more steps: Account verified successful message; Enter Company Details; KYB (Can be skipped by the user); Choose plan (Can be skipped by the user); Now the user will be taken to the Homepage.


Step 2:


Click Continue on Account Verified Successfully.



Step 3:


Enter the following Company Details:


Enter your Company Name


Company Name must be between 3-300 characters. Some special characters are allowed such as hyphens (-), ampersand (&), periods (.), comma (,), apostrophe ('), and at symbol (@).

·       Select your Company Size
·       Enter your Website URL (Optional)
·       Select your Country
·       Enter your Company Address


Address must be between 3-300 characters, including alphabets, numerals, and special characters such as hyphens (-), ampersand (&), periods (.), comma (,), apostrophe ('), parentheses (()), and at symbol (@).


Enter your City Name

City Name must be between 3-300 characters.


Enter the Pin Code

Pin Code cannot be empty and must be without special characters.




Step 4:


Click on Continue to submit the details.



After clicking on "Continue," it will take you to the KYB verification page.


Step 5:


For the KYB process, you can refer article: How to go through KYB Process? For the initial login, you can skip the Complete KYB option also.




Step 6:


Choose the preferred plan to proceed. Your defined credits will be added to your MyIPR Credit account.


For the initial login, you can skip the Choose Plan option also.



Step 7:


Welcome to the Homepage of the MyIPR platform.



Forgot Password


The "Forgot Password" feature is an essential component of any website or platform that allows the user(s) to recover access to their account effectively. 

Step 1:


In case you forget the password to your MyIPR account, click on Forgot Password.



Step 2: 

Enter your registered Email Address and click on Send button. 



Step 3: 


You will receive an email that allows you to reset your password for your MyIPR account. 




Step 4: 


Check your registered Email Inbox for MyIPR reset password link. 


Link valid for 10 mins. If expired, can be regenerated.


Click on Change Password to redirect to the Reset Password page of MyIPR.



Step 5: 


Create a new password for your account. Enter New Password with strong composition.


Criteria for selecting a valid password:

  • Password must contain at least 8-20 characters.
  • Password should always be an alphanumeric string.
  • Password must consist of at least one lowercase and uppercase letter.
  • Password must consist of at least one special character, including “!, @, #, $, %, &, *, (), -, +, =, ^”
  • The new password should not match the last 3 passwords.

Repeat your new password on Confirm Password input box for confirmation.

Click on the Change Password button for submission.



Step 6: 


Go to the MyIPR login page and verify your new password by logging in to the account.

Your password has been successfully changed.
